The company card contains both the company’s own data, such as its name and address, and also the card activity, including the activation and de-activation of any blocks.

Who can apply for a company card?

Company cards can be requested by any companies who own or lease vehicles equipped with a digital tachograph. Self-employed drivers who own their own vehicle with a digital tachograph installed should also apply for a company card.

To apply for a company card you can either go to a Regional Transport Office or fill in a form over the Internet.

If the company card has been mislaid, it should be notified within 7 calendar days to the Regional Transport Office in the place where the company’s main office is located.

If the company card has been physically damaged or is rejected by the tachograph, a new card should be requested within 7 calendar days from the Regional Transport Office in the place where the company’s main office is located.

If the driver’s card has been stolen, a representative of the company must report it to the official security forces and notify the Regional Transport Office in the place where the company has its main office, within 7 calendar days.

How do I renew the card?

The company cards will be valid for a period of five years. Prior to 15 days from the expiry date, the company representative must go to the Regional Transport Office in the place the company has its head office and request renewal of the card.

My company has changed its legal address. What should I do?

If it necessary to change the data on the card, the company representative must go to the nearest Regional Transport Office within one month of the modification. He or she must present a document certifying the change and request a new card which shows the changes.
